Declan is Head of Corporate and Commercial Litigation and Private Client at OSM Partners LLP.
He has advised a broad range of clients across all aspects of mortgage and securities litigation and has particular expertise representing clients in various litigious matters in the Circuit and High Court.
Declan advises many of Ireland’s pillar lending institutions in respect of a variety of secured lending matters and professional indemnity proceedings.
He also advises and represents clients in the sale and purchase of loan portfolios and specifically in relation to the litigation status of those portfolios.
Declan has extensive expertise advising on regulations and consumer codes for retail lending institutions, bankruptcy and personal insolvency matters and in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution cases. Declan’s clients include financial and lending institutions, international private equity funds, credit unions, accountancy firms, Government bodies, management companies and private investors.
Declan has also represented and advised various lending institutions in both high profile and running “test” cases which have helped shape the legislative landscape of mortgage enforcement in Ireland.
